The most beautiful spa town in western Bohemia – Mariánské Lázně – is famous for its beautiful English landscape gardens, romantic colonnades and pavilions as well as cosy cafés. Along with medical and rehabilitation procedures and treatments offered in our resort, you can spend a holiday full of relaxation, active sports, walks and cultural events.

Where to go after your massage?

To the spa colonnade

This neo-baroque cast-iron building dates from 1888–1889 and, together with the Křížový Spring Pavilion and the Rudolfov and Karolina’s Spring Pavilions, constitutes the main spa promenade. It also includes a singing fountain.

To the parks

Thanks to its parks, Mariánské Lázně is one of the most beautiful garden towns in Europe. At the beginning of the 19th Century, these natural gems of botanical and artistic value were taken care of by Václav Skalník.

To the City Museum

The exhibitions focus on the history of spas and manage the largest geological park in the Czech Republic, which includes a symbolic cemetery of the victims of the First World War.

To the healing springs

Approximately 100 natural healing springs spring are all accumulated within a small area. In our spa resort, we use mineral water for inhalations, you can taste the individual thermal springs. We recommend consulting a doctor about a specific drinking cure.

Where to go on a trip?

Teplá Monastery

The Premonstratensian abbey is located on the banks of the river Teplá , which has become the spiritual and cultural centre of the whole area.

Kynžvart Castle

The charming summer residence of the Austrian Chancellor Klemens von Metternich.

Bečov Castle

This castle from the beginning of the 14th Century holds the most important Romanesque jewellery monument in our country – the reliquary of St. Maurus.

Loket Castle

You can see this entire Gothic-Romanesque castle dating to the middle of the 13th Century on your own without a guide. It will pleasantly surprise you with its friendly approach to visitors and a number of attractive exhibits.

Kladská

The Alpine-style hunting settlement is a popular starting point for trips to the peat bog Kladská National Nature Reserve, where its nature trail begins.

To the Boheminium Park

The fourth largest park of miniatures in Europe presents elaborate models of Czech monuments in detail. You can see, for example, Karlštejn, Ještěd or Červená Lhota Castle or Český Krumlov.

Where to go for sports?

Golf

The golf course of the Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázně was established in 1905 and represents a classic type of Scottish / Irish golf courses of their time.

Tennis courts

You will find very great tennis courts, in Mariánské Lázně. Made for an active holiday.

Hiking trails

You can choose from pleasant walks and more demanding hikes.

Cycling routes

Ride an e-bike or a classic bike on one of the charming bike paths in the area.
